Why host Fathers’ Day Celebration in the Historic Auburn Avenue District?
The Historic Auburn Avenue District (better known as Sweet Auburn Avenue) was developed and nurtured by Black Men.
The Father’s Day event does not represent just another free music event being hosted in Historic Auburn Avenue District. The event represent a celebration of those Men who have chosen to take a responsibility for their environment and help to make it a better place for our children to live. The Father’s Day event also represents encouragement for those who are striving to be good fathers though the odds may be against them at times. The event will includes a not only merchant market and food exhibitors but information on self-help, improvement for fathers, men’s health and much, much more. So this is not just an event, it’s a program to help us to do better.
